PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The latest interim data from XPAND, AirXpanders Inc.'s U.S.-based, head-to-head pivotal study of its new, needle-free, patient-controlled tissue expansion system for mastectomy patients undergoing breast reconstruction, will be presented at Plastic Surgery 2014, the annual meeting of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). In addition, the results of several separate analyses and studies investigating the impact of air travel and radiation therapy on patients with the AeroForm expanders implanted will also be presented. The conference is taking place in Chicago from October 10 to 14.
