The party began Friday, May 28, as Encore Beach Club celebrated its grand opening. Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher commanded a bungalow, while linebackers Terrell Suggs of the Baltimore Ravens and Nick Barnett of the Green Bay Packers checked out a cabana. Las Vegas headliner Carrot Top also walked the venue and posed for photos with fans. Surrender Nightclub's grand opening Friday night saw Steve Aoki, musical director and creator of the dance hit "I'm In the House," taking over the turntables for "Aoki's House." Returning to the newest Las Vegas hotspot was Urlacher, who took over one of Surrender's indoor VIP booths.
The festivities continued Saturday night with a live performance by platinum R&B superstar Ne-Yo ("Closer," "Because Of You," "Mad"). Ne-Yo spent the day in a cabana at Encore Beach Club, drinking Dom Perignon Rose and posing for pictures with fans. Later that evening at Surrender Nightclub, Ne-Yo took center stage for a 20-minute performance under the stars. During his first song, "Miss Independent," he grabbed socialite Paris Hilton from the crowd to dance onstage to the hit tune. Hilton spent the day in a bungalow at Encore Beach Club with her friends, occasionally circling the pool and posing for photos with fans.
Also present Saturday was New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, partying with a bevy of beauties in his own cabana. Fellow Saint Jahri Evans was also spotted, as were Ryan Grant of the Green Bay Packers and Steven Jackson of the St. Louis Rams. Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher returned for a second day with teammates Israel Idonije and Adewale Ogunleye.
Sunday marked the debut of Kaskade Sundays at Encore Beach Club, featuring electronic music artist Kaskade. Enjoying the set was Avatar star Sam Worthington, who partied in a cabana with a large group. Also spotted was former Dancing with the Stars contestant Stacy Keibler and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, who returned to the venue for a second day with an entourage.
The grand opening of Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub culminated with a special evening performance at Surrender by hit-makers LMFAO and their Party Rock crew. In a 30-minute set, they pumped up the crowd with their hits "Shots," "I Am Not a Whore" and "I'm in Miami," with altered lyrics to shout out their Vegas location. Paris Hilton also returned to Surrender Sunday night, and jumped on stage with the group. Also present was legendary tennis champion Boris Becker, who was sitting at Hilton's table.
Encore Beach Club is the premier destination for the trendsetter seeking the quality party atmosphere usually found in European hot spots. The 60,000-square-foot venue features a lush oasis with three tiered pools, daybeds featuring private safes and 26 cabanas outfitted with refrigerators and flat screen televisions. Eight bungalows span across two stories, offering views of the Las Vegas Strip with hot tubs, showers, lavish furnishings and a temperature-controlled cooling and heating system set to each guest's preference. As day turns into night, the party moves into Surrender Nightclub, the chic choice for those seeking an upscale evening soiree. This sensual 5,000-square-foot nightclub opens up to the surrounding outdoor oasis as the seasons allow.
Reservations are now being taken for daybeds, cabanas and bungalows for both venues. VIP booths are also available at Surrender. For more information, or to make a reservation, call 702.770.7300 or go to www.EncoreBeachClub.com or www.SurrenderNightclub.com.
