Upcoming Screenplay Contest Winner will be Made into Film
Sunscreen Film Festival partners with Hollywood Production and Distribution companies to produce winning screenplay into film.
LOS ANGELES and ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Sunscreen Film Festival is holding a screenplay competition where the winning script selected will be produced into a film. Manhattan Beach, CA based Production and Management Company Red Baron Films http://www.redbaronfilms.com/ and Los Angeles based Distribution Company Indican Pictures http://www.indicanpictures.com/ will select the winning screenplay to be produced.

Red Baron Films will develop and produce the winning script. Indican Pictures will have first right of refusal to acquire and distribute the film. Indican distributes domestically and internationally to all media platforms (Theatrical, Video, TV, VOD, Streaming, Ancillary, Internet).

Any genre and subject screenplays are accepted at www.sunscreenfilmfestival.com. Screenplays will be accepted October 23rd – February 15th, 2014. The finalists will be announced on April 1st, 2014.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (http://www.oscars.org/) is sponsoring the SSFF and its Spanish Language Filmmaker Showcase. Sunscreen is one of only 23 fests to be sponsored by the Academy for 2013.
