AMES, Iowa, Jan. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Up and Running Software announces 28% revenue growth in 2016 and expansion of executive management team.
Up and Running Software continued its trend of 25-30% of annual growth in 2016, and the company looks to expand further in 2017. An industry leader in building custom, complex and high-load web and mobile applications, Up and Running Software expects to enter into new verticals that complement its expertise in building highly-scalable SaaS and PaaS applications and platforms for clients ranging from the Fortune 10 to startups. To that end, Up and Running Software is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Leibowitz as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Leibowitz, who joined in 2016, will be responsible for new customer wins while also focusing on growing and deepening relationships with existing customers, building out channels and developing new partnerships. He has over two decades of expertise and success in building sales revenue and teams. Ian McKilligan, President and Owner of Up and Running Software, said, "We've seen Mark earn the trust of the founders of early-stage companies and corporate leaders of one of our Fortune 300 customers. Given his track record of winning major deals with Fortune 500, mid-tier and startup companies, and his interest in selling complex professional software services, ours is a perfect match."
Up and Running Software's client list includes many well-known large healthcare, logistics, e-commerce, fintech and media companies, including Hearst Corp., FDLIC, Alliance Data, GE and a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. One of the projects to substantially grow this past year is for FDLIC; Up and Running Software's team has scaled in support of FDLIC's increased SaaS business in an as-needed basis. For Hearst Corp., Up and Running Software contributed to work that's passed both FDA and DEA audits, benefiting many healthcare institutions. Another client is a well-funded Idealab company in the area of VR, chatbot and AI, the work for which has garnered positive results at the last two Consumer Electronics Show (CES) trade shows.
The company's focus is the customer, plain and simple, and technology is just a means to that end. With customer happiness being the goal above anything else, Up and Running Software seeks to earn and maintain great relationships that result in long-term solutions and dividends for itself and its client partners.
One current client, a Silicon Valley-area startup, recently praised Up and Running Software for being "nice and courteous and [having] hardworking Midwestern values."
Peter Hanson, CTO and Founder of Up and Running Software, said, "Mark shares our commitment to our key values, communication and transparency, and implementation excellence. Also, he's nice and he cares. Our clients value that in us, they say it repeatedly, and it was an important consideration in hiring him."
Up and Running Software partners with clients to solve complex technical problems by building, implementing and servicing complex software solutions. An any-language company, its familiarity with the various major development stacks enables translating business needs into working software for customers of any size or industry.
Peter Hanson founded the business in 1995 and still writes code today. His cell is 906-281-1178 and his email is [email protected] if you'd like to talk tech.
