Univision Mobile, Powered By Ultra Mobile, To Offer Customers Unlimited Domestic And International Talk & Text
NEW YORK, Jan. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Univision Mobile and Ultra Mobile, a nationwide mobile carrier offering competitive international telecom services, announced today that they have partnered to bring unlimited international calling and global text to the Univision Mobile base of customers. The wireless service will leverage Ultra's expertise in international telecom and UCI's unparalleled trust with its audience to deliver high-value mobile solutions that meet the unique needs and lifestyle of one of the nation's fastest growing consumer demographics.
February will mark the launch of Ultra powering Univision Mobile's services and customer support. Current Univision Mobile subscribers will have their accounts migrated to Ultra management during the month of February, at which time all customers will immediately benefit from unlimited talk and text to up to 40 international destinations at no extra cost, with no other major changes to rate plans and monthly charges. Under the new relationship, Univision Mobile customers will continue to receive the quality service they've come to expect from the Univision name while benefitting from Ultra Mobile's capabilities for delivering innovative and affordable solutions in international telecom.
"Univision is the brand leader when it comes to catering to Hispanic Americans," said Ultra Mobile CEO David Glickman. "With Ultra's expertise in the international telecom space, Univision Mobile is set to better serve one of the fastest growing demographics in the country. Our partnership will enable more people to stay close to loved ones abroad via unlimited international voice and text to up to 40 countries, including Mexico and the Dominican Republic, and afford us the flexibility to innovate plans to best serve this customer segment."
Ultra Mobile serves the United States' various and diverse international communities with cost-effective, no-contract plans to reach over 200 countries. Ultra has experienced massive growth since it launched in 2011, recently ranking #1 on Inc. Magazine's list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America, with revenue growth of 100,849 percent during the past three years. The new alliance will allow Ultra to reach more U.S. Hispanics with its innovative solutions while also helping to drive business growth for Univision Mobile.
