University of Utah Campus Police Department Selects FreeLinc
OREM, Utah, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- FreeLinc, the world leader in Near Field Magnetic Induction Communication technology, is excited to announce that the University of Utah's Police Department has selected our secure wireless systems for use by their sworn campus officers.
FreeLinc's FreeMic 200 and FreeMotion 100 will provide their officers with communication systems for their portable radios without the hazards and hassles of typical corded or wired systems. Both systems interface to the portable radio through a FreeLinc adapter. The adapter provides a second push to talk option allowing their officers to always maintain a defensive posture and discretion when transmitting. The FreeMic 200 speaker microphone boasts up to 50 hours of continuous talk time on a single charge. The FreeMotion 100 is FreeLinc's newest wireless device. It's a lightweight, single ear headset resembling those commonly used with mobile phones.
