PHOENIX, July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation for nine University of Phoenix business programs in the School of Business and School of Advanced Studies has been granted by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), a leading specialized accreditation body for business education.
ACBSP accreditation reaffirms the University's commitment as one of the leading providers of career-relevant, higher education offerings for working adults and permits the University to continue to host a chapter of Delta Mu Delta, an international honor society that recognizes the academic accomplishments of business students. On June 10, ACBSP recognized University of Phoenix for the reaffirmation at the annual ACBSP Conference in Kansas City, Mo.
The following business degree programs received ACBSP programmatic accreditation:
School of Business
- Associate of Arts with a concentration in Accounting Fundamentals
- Associate of Arts with a concentration in Business Fundamentals
- Bachelor of Science in Business

The ACBSP Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners first accredited University of Phoenix business programs in 2007 and accounting programs in 2009. In order to maintain accredited status, University of Phoenix is required to undergo the reaffirmation process every 10 years.
