University of Minnesota, TSI Host 41st Annual Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course
The University of Minnesota, along with TSI, is again hosting the Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course August 22-24, 2016
SHOREVIEW, Minn., May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Minnesota's Particle Technology Laboratory, in cooperation with TSI Incorporated, is excited to announce that it will again host the popular Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course August 22-24, 2016 at the University of Minnesota.
The course is taught by a number of world-renowned experts in both academia and industry, and includes both lectures and hands-on lab sessions. This year's course, including Atmospheric Aerosol Measurement, Filtration Fundamentals and Applications, and Optical Particle Counters–to name a few–is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals with training in the field.
"TSI is pleased to continue its partnership with the University of Minnesota to provide this outstanding aerosol short course, which includes extensive hands-on lab sessions with a broad range of the latest particle instrumentation," said Brian Osmondson, Business Director, Research and Analytical Instruments.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain theoretical understanding of aerosol properties and behaviors and receive practical training on skills to sample, measure, and characterize airborne particulate matter in a variety of applications, while earning continuing education credits, according to Dr. David Pui, Professor at the University of Minnesota and director of the short course.
