University of Minnesota, TSI Host 39th Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course
Summer Classes Offer Education and Opportunity to Earn CEUs in Aerosol Science
MINNEAPOLIS, May 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Minnesota's Particle Technology Laboratory, in cooperation with TSI Incorporated, is excited to announce that it will again host the popular Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course August 18-20, 2014 at the University of Minnesota.
The course is taught by a number of world-renowned experts in both academia and industry, and includes both lectures and hands-on lab sessions. This year's course, including Aerosol Behavior and Measurement Principles, Basic Instrumentation and Calibration, and Aerosol Applications, is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals with training in the field.
"Participants will have the opportunity to gain theoretical understanding of aerosol properties and behaviors and receive practical training on skills to sample, measure, and characterize airborne particulate matter in a variety of applications, while earning continuing education credits," said Dr. David Pui, Professor at the University of Minnesota and director of the short course.
