University of Minnesota Offers 35th Annual Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course
University of Minnesota- Particle Technology Lab is set to host popular Aerosol Measurement and Technology Short Course for continuing education credits.
MINNEAPOLIS, July 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Minnesota-Particle Technology Laboratory, in cooperation with TSI Incorporated, is excited to announce that it will again host the popular Aerosol and Particle Measurement Short Course August 19-21, 2013 at the University of Minnesota.
The sessions are taught by a number of world-renowned experts in both academia and industry, and include both lectures and hands-on lab sessions. Moreover, this year the course will offer application-specific classes including Measurement Principles and Basic Instrumentation, Diesel & Engine Emissions, and Air & Gas Filtration.
"Participants will have the opportunity to gain theoretical understanding of aerosol properties and behaviors and receive practical training on skills to sample, measure, and characterize airborne particulate matter in a variety of applications, while earing continuing education credits," said Dr. David Pui, Professor at the University of Minnesota and organizer of the short course.
