University of California TV Goes Mobile with New iPhone App
LA JOLLA, Calif., April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- University of California Television (UCTV) has released its first mobile app, now available to iPhone users in the iTunes App Store. The free app offers video and audio versions of UCTV's latest programs, organized by subject matter and special monthly features. To get the app, visit http://uctv.tv/iphone or search "UCTV" in the iTunes store. An Android version of the app is scheduled to be released in Fall 2012.
UCTV's entrance in the mobile marketplace is part of the public-serving media outlet's continued transition to emerging media platforms, including YouTube, iTunesU and Roku.
