University Of California Employees Allege Illegal Outsourcing Of Jobs To India; Forced To Train Their Replacements
OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --

PRESS CONFERENCE: A number of University of California San Francisco tech workers filed age, national origin, sex, and race discrimination complaints with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing today, based on layoffs and allege illegal outsourcing of UC jobs impacting about 80 workers who have begun training their foreign replacements.
This layoff is of major national significance which has already received the attention of the media and Congress. A rally to protest the layoff and outsourcing will be held at Mariposa Park in San Francisco at noon on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
The DFEH discrimination complaints are the first legal action taken by any of the UCSF employees.
