Universal Power Group, Inc. Declares Special Dividend of $0.10 Per Common Share
COPPELL, Texas, May 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Power Group, Inc., a Texas-based supplier of batteries and related power accessories, and a third-party logistics provider, today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a special cash dividend of approximately $0.10 per common share, payable on or about May 27, 2015 to holders of record as of May 12, 2015.
"Following our improved performance for fiscal 2014, I am pleased that UPG's financial position has afforded us the ability to declare this special, cash dividend, consistent with our continuing commitment to provide a meaningful return to shareholders," said Ian Edmonds, President and CEO of UPG.
