Universal Orlando Resort Announces Exciting Music Line-up For 2013 Rock The Universe

ORLANDO, Fla., April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Orlando's Rock the Universe – Florida's biggest Christian music festival – returns this fall on September 6 and 7 with live performances by more than a dozen hit bands in Christian rock.

Guests will rock out to this year's sensational line-up featuring some of the hottest bands in Christian music including, Lecrae – who won Best Gospel Album at the 2012 Grammy Awards; three-time Grammy award-winning group and Daytona Beach natives Casting Crowns; Grammy nominated and winner of 20 Dove Awards Chris Tomlin; and rock band Switchfoot, which has sold millions of albums worldwide. The full line-up is below.

Returning this year is the Fan Zone presented by Coca-Cola where guests will enjoy live music by Dara McClean, OBB and Love & The Outcome, autograph sessions with the bands, karaoke and band merchandise. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience a Saturday night candle lighting service featuring Casting Crowns, guest speakers and more.   

Plus, guests will enjoy the thrilling action of unparalleled theme park attractions only found at Universal Studios Florida.  They can laugh with the banana-loving minions on Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, rock out to hit songs at 65 mph on Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, battle aliens with Agent J on Men In Black Alien Attack and prepare for battle with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee on TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D, opening this summer.
