Brazell will spearhead the environmental, health, and safety efforts of Universal Lubricants and will report directly to John Wesley, Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Universal Lubricants, Brazell spent nine years with Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. in Plano, Texas and Columbia, South Carolina. Brazell previously was a partner in several private law firms and has an extensive background in compliance, litigation, regulatory, risk management, employment/labor and business law areas and in conducting and leading investigations. He also served as an adjunct professor of government at Del Mar College and as General Counsel of several PPOs in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Brazell holds a Bachelors of Arts degree cum laude from the University of South Carolina where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa; and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the South Carolina Bar, the Federal Bar for the Eastern District of Texas, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
