Univar Executives Named Board Members of NACD and the Brazilian Association of Chemical and Petrochemical Distributors

REDMOND, Wash., Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Univar Inc., a leading global chemical distributor, announced today that two members of its executive leadership team have been nominated to board positions at top industry associations. Marco Quirino, president of Univar Brazil, was recently elected to serve as a member of the board of directors for the Brazilian Association of Chemical and Petrochemical Distributors (Associquim), and Terry Hill, Univar executive vice president of Industry Relations, was elected to the board of directors for the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) as a Director-at-Large.

Quirino will serve a four-year board term with Associquim, and Hill will serve a three-year term with the NACD. Hill also serves as a member of the American Chemical Society and a board member of the Chemical Education Foundation.
