United Sugars Corporation Cites Con-way Truckload for Top Performance in 2013

JOPLIN, Mo., Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Con-way Truckload, a full-truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced it has won the Service in Excellence Award from United Sugars Corporation for 2013. It's the sixth consecutive year the company has earned this distinction from North America's leading marketer of industrial sugar. Con-way Truckload received the honor based on its superior shipping performance, on-time service and reliability.

To qualify for the award, the carrier must have shipped 500 loads of sugar and received no more than five customer complaints within 12 months. Con-way Truckload shipped 528 loads and received one complaint. Con-way Truckload currently ships out of United Sugars' facilities in Florida, North Dakota, Minnesota and Montana. The award was presented at United Sugars' recent carrier conference in Fargo, N.D
