United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Honors Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., as Corporation of the Year at 31st Annual Convention
-National Corporation Inducted to USHCC Million Dollar Club-
WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2010 Corporation of the Year Award, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Wal-Mart was honored at a luncheon on Friday, September 24th at the USHCC National Convention & Business Expo in Dallas, TX.
Each year, the USHCC selects one corporation as the recipient of the Corporation of the Year Award. Wal-Mart was selected by the USHCC as the 2010 Corporation of the Year Award for its vision, leadership and community involvement across multiple fronts.

Additionally, the USHCC introduced the Million Dollar Club during the Convention. The Million Dollar Club was created by the USHCC to honor and celebrate the commitment of corporations and their procurement executives who recognize the value of Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs).
The honorees ranged from $25 million to over $500 million in spending with Hispanic Suppliers in 2009. Wal-Mart was the sole company honored in the $500 million or more category.
