For the first time since its inception in 2005, the list has included a sitting USHCC president. In 2012, USHCC President and CEO, Javier Palomarez is among those recognized for their leadership in the Hispanic community.
"For the past 11 years, the Ferraez brothers and Latino Leaders magazine have played an integral role in showcasing the contributions of the most dynamic members of our nation's Hispanic community." says USHCC Chairman-elect, Marc Rodriguez. "We are deeply grateful to see the USHCC's President and CEO recognized alongside such highly regarded icons."
Palomarez is a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprise and the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age. Palomarez has recently been recognized by the Bnai Zion Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to humanitarian initiatives in both Israel and America, as a recipient of their Distinguished Humanitarian Award for his commitment to the improvement of Judeo-Hispanic relations.
