National Hispanic Chamber Adds New Leadership to the Board of Directors
WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) proudly announced the appointment of the following nationally-recognized leaders to its Board of Directors; Anthony (Tony) Jimenez, Jose F. Nino, Don Salazar, Elliott Rivera and Frank A. Rodriguez.
The USHCC will formally induct these new board members at its 31st Annual National Convention & Business Expo on September 22nd -25th in Dallas, Texas. Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade will officially preside at the induction, scheduled for Thursday, September 23rd at The Excellence in Leadership Breakfast.

Anthony (Tony) Jimenez, President, CEO, and founder of MicroTech in Vienna, Virginia, named by Hispanic Business magazine as the No. 1 Fastest- Growing Hispanic-Owned Business in the Nation. Jimenez serves on the board of the American Red Cross - National Capital Area, Everything Channel (a United Business Media Company), the U.S. - Mexico Chamber of Commerce, the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is the National Chairman of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (LISTA).
Jose F. Nino, President of El Nino Group of Washington, D.C., serves as Advisor of Hispanic Teleservices Corporation. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) from 1990 to 1998. Nino is advisor to the Small Business Advisory Board at the Federal Reserve in Chicago, and served as co-chairman of the Bush/Cheney Election Committee.
Don Salazar, President of Creative Times, Inc. and CTI Construction Company, co-founded the Ogden-Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2005 and presently serves as its Chair, and also sits on the Utah Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is a past president of the Northern Utah Public Employees Association; an appointee to the State Council on Workforce Services; a member of the Utah Hispanic/Latino Legislative Taskforce and several other community action groups. Salazar has also mentored numerous small businesses throughout the State of Utah.
Elliott Rivera, President of Centro Unido de Detallistas of Puerto Rico, recently served as the USHCC Chairman Emeritus in 2009-2010.
Frank A. Rodriguez, CEO and General Counsel of Corporate Creations International Inc. Rodriguez is a member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and World Presidents' Organization (WPO), global business networks of successful top executives of prominent companies. Prior to founding Corporate Creations, Rodriguez worked as a corporate attorney at the predecessor to Squire Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. in West Palm Beach, Florida.
