The first webinar Disability Air Travel & the TSA: What You Need to Know ––Apr. 10th at 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT, will provide information on preparing for airport screening and the various programs and services of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to support air travelers with disabilities. Tips about security screenings from mobility devices, service animals, respiratory equipment and medicines will be provided.
The guest speaker will be Jeremy Buzzell, Senior Policy Advisor - Office of Disability Policy & Outreach/Office of Special Counselor; U.S. Department of Homeland Security-Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The second webinar Strategies for Addressing Uninsured Health Expenses After Spinal Cord Injury ––Apr. 25th at 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT, will provide the guidance, resources and support needed to raise funds to bridge the gap between what health insurance will pay and what is actually needed to heal, live and thrive after spinal cord injury.
The guest speaker will be Lynn Samson, Executive Director of "Help Hope Live," a nonprofit that empowers individuals and families to overcome financial barriers related to catastrophic injury (including traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury) through grass-roots fundraising.
