Access to VA Caregiving Benefits for Veterans with Disabilities –– Wednesday, May 7, 2014 3:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. EDT, will highlight VA's Caregiver Program and how it provides services to support caregivers who assist veterans living with disabilities.
The webinar will discuss how proposed expansion of the caregiver program's benefits to disabled veterans of all eras is critical to ensuring community integration and well-being.
Trends in caregiving for veterans and policy changes needed to expand coverage of this VA benefit will also be covered.
Guest speakers include Heather Ansley, Vice President for VetsFirst and Christopher Neiweem, Director of Veterans Policy for VetsFirst.
