TROY, Mich., June 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- United Shore, home to No. 1 wholesale lender United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) and the fastest-growing independent mortgage lender in the country, announced today at its company rally that it will move its corporate headquarters to Pontiac in the summer of 2018. The company will be moving into the Hewlett Packard Enterprise building at 585 South Boulevard, a location that will provide the lender with 600,000 square feet of office space and nearly 60 acres of campus.

The move supports United Shore's commitment to continued growth as one of the largest employers in the Metro Detroit region. Since 2010, the company's team member count has increased five times, going from 400 to 2,100.
With 60 percent of United Shore's workforce comprised of millennials, the new headquarters will especially appeal to a wide range of young professionals. All team members will continue to work out of a single location.

The transaction and expected renovation cost of the new campus is nearly $80 million.
