EDMONTON, Feb. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - F.V.Ramsoondar, President and Chief Executive Officer of United Protection Security Group Inc. ("UPSG" or the "Company"), (TSXV: UZZ) announces the following updates:
a. | The Company has received a change order to the value of $595K to cover additional services until June 30, 2013 for a remote site located north of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The effective date of the change order is February 11, 2013. |

b. | The Company has retained the services of Mr. Murray Blight to assist with business development for its Brandon, Manitoba Operations. Mr. Blight was with the Brandon Police Department from 1971 to 2002, Manitoba Police Association from 1991 to 2002 as Vice President, Brandon Police Association from 1991 to 1999 as President, and is a Councillor with the City of Brandon from 2002 to current. |

Murray has received several merits over the past years including a letter of recognition from the Winnipeg Police in 1990, Excellence in Law Enforcement from the Attorney General in 2000, and The Police Exemplary Service Medal in 1992 and 2002 from the Governor General of Canada. |

c. | Pursuant to a press release dated February 6, 2013, the Company has amended the release wording to correctly state "through an agency agreement, the Company has been awarded a contract with a Port Authority with an approximate annual value of $500K, starting date of March 1, 2013". |
