Enhances Members' Access to Mobile Money Transfers in Local Currencies
SINGAPORE, July 16, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) has partnered with Thunes, a leading cross-border payments network. The collaboration enables UNFCU members to transfer money to mobile wallets in select countries in local currencies.
UNFCU is a US-based credit union serving the needs of the United Nations community worldwide.
Mobile money transfers in local currencies are currently available to UNFCU members in 14 countries. These include Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Guatemala, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Uganda, and Zambia.
