United Illuminating Standardizes on Ventyx Network Manager SCADA Solution in Multi-Million Dollar Deal

ATLANTA, Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ventyx, an ABB company, today announced that The United Illuminating Company (UI), one of New England's leading power utilities, has selected the Ventyx Network Manager™ SCADA solution to replace its legacy SCADA systems in a multi-million dollar deal. Standardizing on a single, modern and secure SCADA platform from Ventyx will enable UI to enhance its compliance, reduce operating costs and increase its reporting capabilities.
