The coveted Mobile Ambassador Award is one of the highest honors given in the mobile entertainment and technology industries and is awarded to the individual who has shown leadership in the industry, innovation by example, and is constantly striving to make a difference in both entertainment and technology. This award is given to the individual who has also effectively supported the goals of the mobile industry, its programs and the mobile community at large.
"The MEA Mobile Ambassador award is a tremendous honor and we felt Scott more than deserved given the leadership he has shown within the industry and the MEA organization this past year," said Sarah Miller, CEO, Axis PR and Founder & Chair, Mobile Excellence Award. "The Mobile Ambassador is a leadership role that is best suited for Scott and we are very excited to have him represent not just the MEA organization but the entire industry in 2012."
Holmes was honored amongst other industry leaders and influencers that gathered for the night to honor excellence in mobile entertainment and technology. Over 400 CEOs and senior executives were in attendance from companies spanning entertainment studios, corporate brands and startups alike.
"It's an honor to be named Mobile Ambassador by the industry and my peers and I look forward to upholding this award for the MEAs and to help drive more recognition to other companies who deserve to be honored as the best in their respective fields in 2012," added Scott Holmes, President, United Future. "I am also looking forward to helping educate more companies on how to create experiences that compel consumers to act and believe in the power that mobile technology has on our daily lives."
Holmes has been an active board member of the MEA over the past year and has been a champion for the rapidly growing mobile marketing business since the launch of the MEA in 2008. He is also an executive member of the Interactive Television Alliance and member of the New Media Peer Group for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
