CHICAGO, Dec. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- United Continental Holdings (NYSE: UAL) today announced that William (Bill) Nuti is joining its Board of Directors effective today.
Nuti is chairman, CEO and president of NCR Corporation, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies. Since his arrival at NCR in 2005, Nuti has orchestrated a highly successful reinvention of the global technology company. Prior to joining NCR, Nuti served as president and CEO of Symbol Technologies, Inc. Nuti joined Symbol from Cisco Systems, Inc. where he served in the dual role of senior vice president of the company's Worldwide Service Provider Operations and senior vice president of U.S. Theater Operations.
