BERWICK, Pa., Aug. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Operators at the Susquehanna nuclear power plant disconnected the Unit 1 reactor from the electrical grid on Saturday, August 18 to perform a brief, proactive maintenance outage.
"Susquehanna's maintenance professionals will be restoring redundancy to a major piece of equipment to ensure reliability and predictability of our generation equipment," said Brad Berryman, Site Vice President.
