Unisys Selected to Compete for Applications Modernization Work for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
Unisys to Compete for a Broad Range of Task Orders Worth up to $1 Billion
BLUE BELL, Pa., July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) awarded a contract to Unisys (NYSE: UIS) to compete for task orders under the Total Application Services for Enterprise Requirements (TASER) contract for functional category 3 - Integration and Development services.
Under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, Unisys will compete to provide integration and deployment support to NGA and support the agency's consolidation to a site at Springfield, Va. TASER is the first prime services contract vehicle for Unisys at NGA.
The contract, capped at $1 billion over five years, supports NGA's mission to provide timely, relevant and accurate geospatial intelligence in support of national security objectives.
Unisys is one of 13 companies awarded a TASER IDIQ contract in this functional area. The 13 companies will compete for task orders to provide a broad range of services including: integration and hosting of mission-critical systems and deployment of those systems to NGA facilities worldwide.
Unisys partners for TASER include: Praxis Engineering, Applied Signal Technology, Vekner Consulting, Tek Systems, Mach 1 Development and Pangia Technologies.
