Unisys Federal President Venkatapathi "PV" Puvvada Elected Chair of Professional Services Council Board of Directors

RESTON, Va., Dec. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Venkatapathi "PV" Puvvada, president of Unisys Federal, has been elected to serve as chair of the Professional Services Council (PSC) board of directors.

PSC is an industry trade group that represents the interests of technology and professional services companies serving the U.S. federal government. In his new role at PSC, Puvvada will lead in guiding the development and implementation of the group's strategic priorities to provide unparalleled value to members by serving as the leading voice for the government professional and technology services industry.

Today's announcement is the latest in a series of leadership appointments for Puvvada at PSC. In June 2017, Puvvada was elected as vice chair of PSC's executive committee and board of directors. He also previously served as chair of PSC's Civilian Agencies Council that focuses on the acquisition policies and strategies of federal civilian agencies, including the departments of Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services and Energy.
