Unisys Announces Key Financial-Services Industry and Regional Leadership Appointments in Enterprise Solutions Organization

BLUE BELL, Pa., Jan. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced two key leadership appointments in its Enterprise Solutions organization, which serves Unisys clients globally outside of the U.S. Federal market. The appointments deepen the company's vertical industry and regional capabilities.

Eric Crabtree will join the company as global head of Unisys Financial Services, one of the three vertical industry groups within Enterprise Solutions. In a key regional appointment, Tom Higgins will join as vice president and general manager, Enterprise Solutions, Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA).

Both leaders will join Unisys February 1. They will report to Eric Hutto, senior vice president and president, Enterprise Solutions.

Eric Crabtree, Global Head, Financial Services
Crabtree will be responsible for leading the company's global Financial Services vertical industry group. Global revenue from the company's financial services clients represents approximately 25 percent of the company's overall revenue.

Crabtree brings more than 20 years of experience in developing and delivering multi-channel financial-services solutions that drive growth and improve the customer experience. His responsibilities have included establishing digital banking channels, directing strategic transformation of retail branch networks, and overseeing integration of institutions acquired through mergers.

Crabtree most recently served as a managing director of omni-channel banking at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). He previously held senior executive leadership positions at Barclays Bank and Washington Mutual, and founded an advisory and consulting firm focused on the financial services industry.

Tom Higgins, Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Solutions, EMEA
Higgins will have responsibility for building and strengthening client relationships in the EMEA region, which represents approximately 30 percent of the company's revenue.

Throughout his 28-year career, Higgins has successfully sold and delivered IT solutions across Europe to clients in a range of industries, including health care and financial services. He has implemented go-to-market and customer-service programs that have driven significant growth in the businesses he has led.

Prior to joining Unisys, Higgins led the large deal team for Dell Services in EMEA, with responsibility for a pipeline of cloud and application-services solutions. He has also held executive leadership positions at Perot Systems, Sun Microsystems and Encore Computers. He began his career at the UK Ministry of Defence.
