Unisone Sues Life Technologies Over IP Infringement
DEL MAR, Calif., June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisone Strategic IP, Inc. announced June 3, 2013 it has filed a complaint for patent infringement against Life Technologies Corporation in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, Case No. 13-cv-1278-GPC-JMA. The complaint alleges that Life Technologies' supply chain management system software infringes on Unisone's U.S. Patent No. 6,996,538, which is directed to inventory control systems and methods. Unisone is an intellectual property holding company based in San Diego, CA with a patent portfolio spanning 32 countries and serving an international customer base that includes Fortune 100 companies.
