Unirac Achieves Class A Fire Rating in Accordance with UL2703/UL1703 for Type 1, 2 & 3 Modules on all Roof Top Systems

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Jan. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Unirac, Inc., a Hilti Group Company and leading provider of high quality, competitive PV mounting solutions in North America, announced today, that its roof top products become the only PV mounting systems in North America to achieve a Class A fire rating for Type 1, 2, and 3 modules in accordance with UL2703/UL1703 Fire Certification, without the need for additional parts or modifications.

Effective January 2015, the State of California is enforcing the newest version of the CBC (based on IBC 2012), which includes the new requirements for the fire classification of solar systems.
