Unify Appoints Stefan Ried as Head of Technology Strategy and Chief Technology Officer, Product House

MUNICH and BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Unify, a leading communications software and services firm, today announced that Dr. Stefan Ried has joined as Head of Technology Strategy and Chief Technology Officer, Product House. Ried will be instrumental in helping Unify to drive the latest technology trends in cloud, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and the Internet of Things.

Ried has 20 years of experience in leading-marketing and software product development. Prior to joining Unify, he was Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, where he advised leading CIOs and software vendors about cloud platforms, the Internet of Things, and emerging business models, such as cloud broker. Ried also previously worked as Senior Vice President of Netweaver Product Management at SAP and as Vice President of Product Management at Software AG. He studied Physics in Stuttgart and owns a PhD granted by Max Planck Institute.
