Unify Accelerates Global Channel Partner Momentum
Highlights Partner Successes at IPC 2014
MUNICH and RESTON, Va., May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Unify, formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications, one of the world's leading communications software and services firms, highlighted exceptional customers' successes from its partners during its successful International Partner Conference held recently in Dubai. With hundreds of partners from Europe and Asia in attendance, Unify showcased several significant deals won by Unify partners, including Feju (Netherlands) and Gastel Communication (France).
"We see increasing demand for dynamic and collaborative unified communication solutions as organizations of all sizes seek to find new ways to work and explore the growth opportunities that communications software provides," comments Jon Pritchard, executive vice president, worldwide channels at Unify. "Our partner community plays a critical role in the go-to-market and growth strategy for the company and we will continue to develop our Go Forward partner program and our portfolio to enable them to be even more successful."
Unify, which has over 3,500 partners in its Go Forward partner eco system, also announced a new global partner recruitment drive. This recruitment drive will focus on engaging Unify with SaaS focused resellers as the company readies itself for the launch of Project Ansible, later this year. Unify believes that the strength of the Unify portfolio and its partner program, combined with the market opportunity for unified communication solutions, will ensure that Unify's global channel partners are well-prepared to win and add value to customers.
Globally, working alongside Unify, partners have recently won a number of significant deals. For example, Netherlands' based Feju won the contract to provide Het Laar, a leading provider of services and care to the elderly, with OpenScape Business, Unify's all-in-one UC solution for small and medium businesses – offering the customer unmatched scalability, multiple integration possibilities and a product portfolio that met strict certification requirements. Paris based, Gastel Communication also secured the contract to transform the International Union of Railways (Union Internationale des Chemins de Fer – UIC) communication system – replacing its analog voice network with a modern VoIP platform that enables mobile and flexible working.
Albert Jakobsen, General Director, Feju in the Netherlands says, "Our relationship with Unify means that our company has a strategic partner at its side who is active in all kinds of companies and organizations. Over the last two years, having direct access to Unify's expert sales team has proved invaluable as it has enabled us to implement scalable state-of-the-art solutions for Het Laar, among other companies, who operate under very strict NEN regulations. Ultimately, Unify enables us to engage customers on the next level as we are able to offer them certified ready-made products and a broad portfolio of services, equal to ours, all while having the peace of mind that they have two partners that understand their market and business."
Didier Bastid, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gastel Communication in France adds, "As a Unify partner, we are very enthusiastic about the growing number of dynamic communications solutions that we can provide to customers. Engaging with Unify's expert sales teams, and making the most of their partner resources, has enabled us to help our customers address the unique communications challenges they face. Working with Unify helps us to provide our customers, not only with strategic advice but also with market leading products that are trusted by some of the biggest brands in the world to deliver."
Tony Brar, Sales Director, NETconnection Systems Ltd in the UK comments, "As a Unify partner for the past five years, we have had a lot of success selling its unified communications (UC) solutions. Having access to a dedicated team of Unify experts, and the company's wide range of market leading solutions, we have seen an increase in the number of registered deals and sales opportunities – resulting in over £750,000 of business in 2013 alone. Working with the Unify team also allows us to engage in new customer conversations about new ways to work and the benefits of collaborative unified communications solutions, delivering tremendous value beyond the standard solutions that our competitors bring to the table."
