UNFI EDI Interface Now Available for ChefTec Software Users

BOULDER, Colo., March 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Culinary Software Services, the leading provider of back-of-the-house technology for the foodservice industry, announces the availability of a seamless electronic data interchange (EDI) interface service with United Natural Foods (UNFI). UNFI is the largest national distributor of natural and organic foods, specialty foods, and related products in the United States and Canada. EDI interfaces for other broadline food distributors, such as Sysco, US Foods, and Performance Food Group are already available, providing CorTec and ChefTec users powerful time-saving tools for tracking costs and ordering.

Previously, all UNFI ordering was completed through a separate online program or as a paper and pencil process. The UNFI EDI interface service will now enable ChefTec and CorTec to electronically and seamlessly place orders directly to UNFI. In addition, the interface will electronically confirm orders and provide invoices, without leaving the CorTec or ChefTec software program.
