Ultra Mobile Refreshes Plans And Launches New Website In Time For Summer
Ultra adds unlimited data and more international calling to its $29 plan, and allows subscribers to "Call the World" with $20 Call Anywhere Credit on its $44 plan
COSTA MESA, Calif. and NEW YORK, June 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultra Mobile, a nationwide mobile carrier developing first-of-its-kind mobile phone services with unlimited international communications, and ranked number #1 on the Inc. 500, has refreshed two of its plans, added new unlimited calling destinations and launched contract-free handsets on its revamped site today.
In recognition of the increasing importance of data, Ultra Mobile has added unlimited data to its $29 Plan with 1 GB at up to 4G LTE speeds. This means that all Ultra plans starting at $29 will now include unlimited data as standard. Also included in the refreshed $29 plan are unlimited national voice, unlimited global text and unlimited calling to over 60 destinations. This impressive list of free calling destinations, which is also available on the $39, $49, and $59 plans, is now up to 66 destinations with Andorra, Colombia, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Martinique, and Russia just added.
The $44 plan refresh, focused on meeting the needs of customers wanting to call an even wider range of countries, includes a $20 Call Anywhere credit, allowing customers to call over 200 destinations at no additional cost. This also includes unlimited national voice, global text and data. Customers on this plan, as well as the $19 and $34 plans, will also be able to enjoy unlimited calling to 30 destinations with 19 new destinations added: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
"By nearly tripling the international destinations for free unlimited calling and adding new geographic regions, we continue to provide extremely competitive calling plans to meet the varying needs of our large, growing user base," said Ultra Mobile President Tyler Leshney. "We are proud to create products that drive value for our network of 7,500 independent wireless stores with plans that are easy to sell and deliver tons of value to the customer, whether in store or online."
The new plans coincide with Ultra's sleek new website redesign and the launch of handsets for sale on the site, making ultramobile.com a one-stop shop for customers. All phones will be unlocked and feature Ultra Mobile SIM cards to connect via the user's choice from Ultra's monthly plans. Handsets will include Samsung, Apple, HTC, Motorola and BLU mobile phones, with additional devices added over time. Launch inventory includes:
