Ultra Mobile Now Available at 6,000 U.S. 7-Eleven Stores
For MVNO serving foreign-born people living in U.S., move is part of company strategy to nearly double the number of its distribution outlets nationwide
COSTA MESA, Calif., May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultra Mobile, the mobile operator known for keeping people connected with families and friends overseas, said today it has reached a key distribution agreement to supply over 6,000 7-Eleven Inc. convenience stores nationwide with its prepaid service plans starting this month.
Ultra Mobile, which focuses on the estimated 40 million foreign-born people living in the United States who regularly call or text internationally, said the availability of its product in 7-Eleven -- the world's largest operator, franchisor and licensor of convenience stores -- is part of the company's strategy to grow by nearly doubling the number of its distribution outlets nationwide.
Operators of participating 7-Eleven stores will offer Ultra Mobile's $29 per month service plan and replenishments for customers renewing their plans. The plan provides unlimited international talk and text to over 40 countries, 1,000 minutes of credit for calling anywhere in the world and data at 4G LTE speed.
Ultra Mobile will be available in 7-Eleven stores with significant local populations of ethnic communities, and customers who speak Spanish, Chinese or Indian dialects can take advantage of the in-language customer care offered by Ultra Mobile in these languages.
