Ultimat Vodka Celebrates Leap Day With New Festive Cocktail Recipes

NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultimat Vodka's "Find Balance, Find Ultimat" campaign encourages hardworking individuals to take time out of their busy schedules to enjoy life.  And this year, we have an extra day to this! With Leap Day on February 29, the makers of Ultimat Vodka remind people about the importance of finding their work/life balance and to use this extra day to take it easy, enjoy a cocktail tomorrow night, and spend time with family and friends.

To help celebrate this extra day that occurs just once every four years, a series of Ultimat cocktail recipes have been carefully crafted by acclaimed New York mixologist Walter Easterbrook. These Leap Day-inspired drinks were created to specifically highlight the holiday and give you another reason to enjoy this extra day.

The Ultimat Leap Day cocktails include the Ultimat Caesar, Tropical Zodiac, and Leap of Faith: 

Ultimat Caesar
1 1/2 Ultimat Vodka
4 oz. Tomato juice
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Tabasco
celery bitters
pepper to taste
1 pickle-stuffed olive
* Combine ingredients over ice and Garnish with a celery stalk, Lemon wedge, and a pickle-stuffed olive.

Tropical Zodiac
1 oz. Ultimat Vodka
1 oz. Patron Citronge orange liqueur
2 oz. Blackberry Juice
2 oz. Fresh Orange Juice

Leap of Faith
1 oz. Ultimat Vodka
3 Fresh Strawberries
1/2 oz. Golden Ginger
Topped with champagne
*Process: Muddle strawberries, add Ultimat and Golden Ginger.  Shake and strain into a champagne flute, top with champagne.  Garnish with a strawberry.
