UL Warns of Potentially Hazardous Pump Control Unit with Counterfeit UL Mark

NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UL is notifying Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), consumers, distributors and manufacturers that the monitoring and pump control unit below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and may pose a fire and shock hazard. The product does not comply with UL's safety requirements and is not eligible to bear the UL Mark.
