UL Warns of Potentially Hazardous Halloween Decoration with Counterfeit UL Mark
PUBLIC NOTICE
NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UL is notifying consumers, retailers and distributors that the electric lantern kit Halloween decoration identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and may pose a fire and shock hazard. The product does not comply with UL's safety requirements for the United States and is not eligible to bear the UL Mark.
