UL Warns of Potentially Hazardous Compact Fluorescent Lamps
NORTHBROOK, Ill., June 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is notifying consumers, retailers and distributors that compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) manufactured by Taean Co. Ltd., may pose a risk of shock and fire hazard. The product does not comply with UL's safety requirements and is not eligible to bear the UL Mark.
