NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is a notification from UL that the fire sprinklers, identified below, bear counterfeit UL Certification Marks for the United States and Canada. The fire sprinklers have not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standards for Safety and it is not known if the fire sprinklers comply with any safety requirements.
Although the fire sprinklers are marked NX003 and NX005 and the thermo bulbs are marked "JOB F5" and "JOB FR," the fire sprinklers were not manufactured or labeled by Nanjing Tuna Fire Protection Co Ltd. Furthermore, the thermo bulbs were not manufactured or labeled by Job, GmbH., its affiliates or agents.

NX005 SSP 68°C 155°F 2017 O

Location: The fire sprinklers have been found in Medellin Antioquia, Colombia. UL has not received reports of these counterfeit sprinklers in other locations.
