UL Now an OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratory for Dedicated Short-Range Communications Connected Vehicle Technology
Testing builds trust in the safety and interoperability of vehicle-to-everything Devices
NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- UL, a leading global safety science organization, today announced that the UL-Novi facility is now an OmniAir Authorized Test Laboratory (OATL) to conduct certification testing for dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) devices. UL helps manufacturers assess their V2X devices so they can interoperate seamlessly with each other and connected vehicles through DSRC wireless protocol.
OmniAir Consortium is the world's leading industry association promoting national and global interoperability and certification for connected vehicles, tolling, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
