UL Japan launches DOCOMO-accredited testing service as signaling evaluation test for smartphone, module and chipset
TOKYO, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- UL Japan, a subsidiary of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) [Head office: 4383-326 Asama-cho, Ise-shi, Mie 516-0021 Japan] today announced the launch of W-CDMA/LTE signaling evaluation test accredited by NTT DOCOMO, Inc. (DOCOMO), leading mobile communication carrier in Japan.
UL Japan, as a DOCOMO Approved Testing Laboratory (D-ATL), started the signaling evaluation test service in October, 2013 for DOCOMO devices including smartphones, modules and chipsets. This test evaluates connectivity between mobile devices and base stations for W-CDMA and LTE.
UL Japan, as Registered Certification Body under the Japanese Radio Law, can now provide customers one-stop service supporting regulations from the Japanese Radio Law, FCC/IC, R&TTE, any international radio regulations to CTIA, GCF, PTCRB through UL's global network.
