UJET Completes SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA Examinations

The examinations, conducted by leading CPA firm Schellman & Company, LLC, highlight UJET's commitment to meet and exceed the most stringent requirements for security and privacy.

The successful completion of the SOC 2 Type 2 examination provides assurance to UJET customers that the company has effectively implemented security controls, as defined by SOC 2 standards, relative to its customer support platform. The examination tested UJET against the five trust principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

The company has also successfully completed the HIPAA attestation examination, which confirmed that UJET conformed to the applicable implementation specifications within the HIPAA Security Rule and the HITECH Breach Notification requirements. Having HIPAA compliance demonstrates that the UJET platform appropriately safeguards protected health information and sets limits and conditions on the use of such information without proper authorization.
