UHS-Pruitt Corporation COO Chris Bryson Elected GHCA Chair of the Board of Directors and Recognized for Leadership Excellence

NORCROSS, Ga., June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- UHS-Pruitt Corporation Chief Operating Officer, Chris Bryson, was elected as chair of the Georgia Health Care Association board of directors within hours of being honored with the organization's Leadership Excellence Award. Mr. Bryson has several decades of experience in health care and is a recognized leader in the long-term and post-acute care fields. He was selected for the leadership recognition because his work demonstrates he holds a vast commitment to quality, stewardship and integrity.

In the past, Mr. Bryson has served as chair of the Owner/Operator Committee, as the association's treasurer and, most recently, as vice chair of the board of directors. As Chair, he will provide guidance and direction to the Georgia association that represents providers serving communities throughout the state. He succeeds Ms. Deborah L. Meade, CEO of Health Management of Warner Robins, Georgia.
