UHC Selects Zurich for Professional Medical and General Liability Insurance

CHICAGO, July 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UHC today announced that, after a market evaluation, it has awarded a contract for professional medical and general liability insurance to Zurich in North America. The 3-year contract is effective as of July 1, 2011.

Zurich offers a unique combination of coverage features and risk services at competitive rates, providing significant value for UHC academic medical center members and their affiliated hospitals.

Zurich in North America is the third-largest writer of commercial general liability insurance and the fourth-largest commercial property-casualty insurance company, serving the global corporate, large corporate, middle market, specialties, and programs sectors.
