UHC Selects The Doctors Company for Professional Liability Insurance Services
CHICAGO, July 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UHC today announced that, after a market evaluation, it has awarded a contract to The Doctors Company for professional liability insurance services for physicians and surgeons. The 3-year contract is effective as of July 1, 2011.
The Doctors Company's medical liability program offers UHC members a unique combination of coverage features. Its underwriting and pricing models are geared toward academic medical centers and complex teaching environments.
